Wedel (pronounced ‘Vedel’)is Poland’s oldest chocolate brand and a household name throughout the country. Once you step inside the Wonka-esque named Chocolate Lounge, the dilemma begins – what to choose. All manner of chocolate lovers are catered for so you will not be disappointed. Try one of the many varieties of drinking chocolate, both hot and cold. The hand-made pralines are difficult to be bettered anywhere. The dark chocolate crepes should easily sate most chocoholics cravings and will leave them wanting many a return visit.
There are five Chocolate Lounge locations in Warsaw alone and they all offer a charming, relaxed atmosphere in which to indulge your chocolate desire. The menu is wide ranging, with plenty of delicious delights to please all ages. As you would expect, kids are well looked after with their own section – most of which will be tasted by jealous parents - including Chocolate Yum, Little Pirates and our fave, Toffi Cloud.
Whatever the weather outside, anytime is chocolate time in the Wedel Chocolate Lounge. Be it milk, dark or white, your chosen treat will ensure you leave this place with a big smile on your face, safe in the knowledge that the streets of Warsaw are waiting for you to burn off those calories.
