Following collection from your Warsaw accommodation, begin your journey to the two of the Praga District's museums. There you can learn how the first written record of the word vodka came from Poland in 1405, being included as part of the “Akta Grodzkie“ court documents from the Palatinate of Sandomierz. During that time, vodka was not widely used as a drink, but more as a medicinal substance for sterilizing wounds and numbing injuries.
