The service was amazing, especially because of our waiter Iryna. She was very welcoming and helpful, taking photos for us and checking in every once in a while if our experience was good. The food was one of the best we had in Poland during our trip - would definitely recommend this place and will come back next time if I could! I also bought the Podwale soup bowl because I found it was very lightweight and instantly fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. It's happily sitting in my cupboard now 🙃

Fun place. The staff are happy, The room feels like a true Polish restaurant. Just small aspects, like candles, and a wooden interior, makes this place feel traditional. The drinks were tasty and served professionally. Don’t expect to finish your meal because of this. After we finished our meal , small duo band came. Really entertaining place.

I’m going to say it… this is the best traditional restaurant in Warsaw. I’ve eaten at countless traditional restaurants all over Poland, and I’ve loved almost all of them, but discovering this place was something special. From the moment we sat down, the service was exceptional. We were introduced to our own waiter, Max, who took the time to explain the menu, recommend his favourite dishes, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Everything arrived quickly, and the service remained friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the meal. The portions are enormous, so come hungry! There are so many delicious dishes to choose from that your stomach simply won’t let you try everything. Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection. The ribs were so tender they fell off the bone, the schnitzel was juicy and crispy, the soups were rich and full of flavour, and the drinks were excellent. To top it all off, during dinner an accordion player and violinist performed live throughout the restaurant, creating an incredible atmosphere. Even though the restaurant was packed, everything ran smoothly, and the energy was fantastic. If you’re looking for authentic Polish food, generous portions, outstanding service, and a memorable dining experience in Warsaw, don’t miss Podwale 25 Kompania Piwna. A special thank you to Max for making our visit even better. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly.

A fantastic place to experience traditional Polish cuisine in Warsaw! The food was delicious from start to finish. The bread bowl soup was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, while the pierogi were perfectly cooked and served with a tasty sour cream dip. The selection of cold cuts, cheeses, pickles, and traditional sides was also excellent and great for sharing. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. The atmosphere was just as enjoyable as the food. The restaurant had a warm, cozy, traditional feel, and the live music made the whole dining experience even more memorable. The service was friendly and efficient, and the portions were generous for the price. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Polish food in a welcoming setting.

I liked the food and especially the meringue cake which I likee from the moment I entered the restaurant - 3 huge and fresh looking cakes were there exposed. Very delicious, best meringue ever tasted, fresh fruit on it and the cream - all was delicious. The service was average - ok, nothing special to mention actually. Pierogei with meat and the ones with potatoe and curd were delicious and fried. Schnitzels were tasty and the potatoe salad as a side was great taste. I did not like the borscht. I decided to try pork knuckle as it really looked good, but it was too much for 1 person of course. I would suggest to offer a smaller portion too as it is a great dish, but way too big for one. I the waiter, while I was about to decide, suggested to take out what will be left, but actually they do not have a proper box for it and the paper bag is very tiny and can not carry that weight. As it is their principal dish and the most expensive one (132zl, 1,100 kg), they could do way better. And I didn’t liked the sides of it too much. I liked their chefs compliment - cucumber and cabbage, as well as cherry licour. I came back because it was worth it.
