SHUK mezze & bar is honestly one of the most atmospheric and authentic Middle Eastern / Israeli-style restaurants I have visited in Warsaw. Even though this place is especially famous for its breakfast and brunch culture, we decided to visit in the evening with a reservation, and it turned out to be an excellent experience. Interestingly, the restaurant was comfortably busy but not overcrowded, so depending on the day and time, a reservation may not always be necessary. The first thing that stands out is the ambience. The restaurant has a warm, stylish Middle Eastern aesthetic with beautiful interior decoration, wooden tables, soft lighting, and even an outdoor balcony area with palms that gives the whole place a relaxed Levantine atmosphere. It feels elegant without becoming pretentious. The music matched the environment very well and added to the experience without being intrusive. The menu is extensive and very thoughtfully designed. There are plenty of vegetarian options, and you can really tell the kitchen tries to stay close to authentic Israeli and Middle Eastern flavors. We wanted to try a wide selection of dishes and starters, and everything arrived beautifully plated and full of flavor. The mezze and starters were a highlight. We had various pickled vegetables with olives, radishes, and mixed marinated vegetables, alongside fried and baked starters. Everything tasted fresh and well balanced. The presentation itself looked fantastic. The dishes were colorful, aromatic, and clearly prepared with attention to detail. One of the standout dishes was the roasted cauliflower dish, served in a rich sauce with herbs, pomegranate, tahini-style elements, and beautifully layered textures. It looked absolutely stunning and tasted even better. The portions overall were generous and satisfying. The drinks menu deserves special praise as well. The homemade lemonade was refreshing, large, and perfect for a warm evening. The chai tea was very well prepared and even served with rock sugar, which was a really nice touch. The beer selection is excellent, especially if you enjoy Polish craft beer. A personal recommendation from me is the Jan Olbracht beer — absolutely worth trying here. Another thing we noticed positively was the professionalism of the staff. They quickly adapted depending on whether guests spoke Polish or English and immediately provided the correct menus without awkwardness. Both Polish and English menus were available and clearly organized. Service was friendly, attentive, quick, and welcoming throughout the evening. The restaurant was also very clean, including the toilets, and the bar looked extremely well stocked with quality spirits and cocktails. You can tell this is a place where people come not only for brunch, but also for relaxed evening dining and social meetings. It also felt like a genuine local spot rather than a tourist trap. Price-wise, it is slightly on the higher side compared to casual restaurants in Warsaw, but still completely reasonable considering the quality, atmosphere, presentation, and service. It feels like the kind of place where you are happy to spend a little bit more because the overall experience justifies it. Overall, I can highly recommend SHUK mezze & bar both for brunch lovers and for people looking for a high-quality Middle Eastern dinner experience in Warsaw. We would definitely return again.

Absolutely loved our breakfast! We had a Middle Eastern breakfast along with the shakshuka, and everything was incredibly tasty and full of flavor. The dishes felt fresh, authentic, and perfectly prepared … the shakshuka in particular was rich, comforting, and delicious. A great spot for a relaxed and satisfying breakfast. Highly recommended, we’ll definitely be back!

Authentic and cozy café with a great selection of breakfasts and delicious meals. We tried the Turkish breakfast — it was excellent, as were the Israeli tea, coffee, and desserts. However, the hot appetizers were disappointing, served half-cold as if straight from the fridge. Overall, a nice place worth visiting, but skip the hot starters.

SHUK Mezze & Bar is a lovely spot for those who enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine. The restaurant offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with both indoor and outdoor seating that feels cozy and stylish. The menu features a variety of flavorful mezze dishes, freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The spices and herbs are well-balanced, giving each plate a distinctive Middle Eastern touch. While some portions could be slightly larger for the price, the overall experience is satisfying. It’s a great place for casual dining or a relaxed evening with friends, offering both great food and a pleasant ambiance.
