A little ironic that the hotel is named 'American House' but no-one on staff seems to speak English. Staff was very attentive though. Breakfast was excellent. When I had dinner here the soup was served quite a bit too hot (it was the kind where you can't see if it's steaming but it was absolutely scorching) though with some waiting it tasted very nice. WiFi sucked and I couldn't seem to get cold water from the tap. The room was otherwise very comfortable though and the balcony was beautiful. Getting here by public transport is a challenge, but after you've done it once it's pretty simple. I came away feeling that this place is just a couple steps away from being amazing, but those steps do need to be taken.
Very nice restaurant with cozy interior and a lovely garden area. Charming and attentive staff and delicious food with a good selection. Overall a great place both for a relaxed dinner with family or friends, or for a bigger event.
