If I could give this restaurant 10 stars instead of 5, I absolutely would. Everything about this place is wonderful: the atmosphere, the location, the design, the food, but especially the service. Both times I’ve been here (first with a friend for a chat, and then with my boyfriend) I was struck by how genuinely well the staff treats their guests. Need a recommendation from the menu? They’re happy to help. Have a problem? It gets sorted out immediately. There’s always pleasant small talk, and everything is done with genuine attention and respect. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the name of the lovely woman who looked after us during our first visit. But on our second visit, we received the warmest welcome and impeccable service from Hubert, who, as I understand it, is actually a manager rather than a waiter. However, when he saw that we might have to wait, he personally took our order and brought out our dishes. I really appreciate this kind of genuine care for guests. And, of course, the seafood deserves a special mention - incredibly fresh and delicious. Every dish was excellent, and the portions were just right. I have a feeling this is definitely going to become one of my favourite places in Warsaw!
Port Royale Fish & Oyster has a very nice atmosphere and the concept has a lot of potential, but the food was quite inconsistent during our visit. A few dishes were genuinely good - especially the tuna tartare and the prawns, which came with a very flavorful sauce and were probably the highlight of the dinner. At the same time, several dishes missed the mark. The tuna tataki was quite strange and honestly should not really be called tataki. The sea bass ceviche with green curry did not work for us at all, the mussels were average, and the octopus itself was cooked reasonably well but completely overwhelmed by far too much chimichurri sauce. Service was polite and fine overall, but nothing particularly memorable or attentive. The atmosphere, however, was pleasant and probably the strongest part of the experience. Overall, a decent place for a casual evening, but considering the prices and concept, we expected more consistency and refinement from the kitchen. PS. We wanted to try fish market and booked especially for this experience, but upon arrival been told that dates been moved to Wednesday (during the booking we were assured that it will be available on Thursday)
So far our favorite meal in Warsaw. We had the artichokes, sea bream with rice, potatoe vodka and miso cocktail. Everything was perfect, unique and delicious. Tatiana our waitress was fantastic too. Highly recommend!
All I can say is Wow wow wow. Exceeded my expectations. Lukas the chef is top notch and Sofia is an amazing person. Thank you all for an amazing evening with you and this delicious food. Your heart goes into everything you do. Keep doing and don’t stop
Overall, we had a good experience at Port Royal Fish and Oysters. The food was fresh and tasty, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. The only small downside was the mussels — they could have used a bit more flavor.
