I ordered the rendang, which came with rice and iced tea. For the price, I think it’s really good, especially considering the portion size and that it comes with beef. You can request it spicy or not. I chose spicy, and I would say it’s actually spicy! 🌶️ The service was nice and friendly, and the place was clean. When I visited for lunch, I didn’t need a reservation. You can also ask for some kerupuk if they have any available! Overall, a good place for Indonesian food in Warsaw^^ In total around 78PLN
After trying an Indonesian restaurant in Warsaw, we decided to give this one a try as well. We ordered the Bebek Lado Ijo (8/10), Ikan Kuah Kuning (8/10), and Gado Gado (7/10). Overall, I’d say the flavors are pretty authentic, even if the presentation isn’t exactly like what you’d get in Indonesia. Considering the limited availability of Indonesian spices and herbs in Poland, they did a great job. The only dish that disappointed me a little was the gado gado. The peanut sauce tasted more like a regular peanut sauce rather than the richer, slightly sweeter sauce that’s typical for gado gado. There also wasn’t quite enough sauce for the amount of vegetables. One thing to note: don’t underestimate the spice level! If you ask for spicy, they’ll give you proper Indonesian spicy. The owner is from Jember, East Java, a region that’s well known for its love of fiery sambal, so they definitely don’t hold back. They also sell rempeyek, the crispy Indonesian rice flour crackers with peanuts, which was a nice surprise! As for the price, I’d say it’s fair for the quality and authenticity of the food. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re craving Indonesian food in Poland.
Our first time ever trying authentic Indonesian food in Warsaw, and what a wonderful experience! The restaurant is run by an Indonesian chef who previously worked in a 5-star hotel and has been successfully running his own restaurant for nearly 9 years. You can really feel his passion and experience in every dish. The food gave us real Indonesian vibes. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and very authentic. The chicken dish was so good that we ordered a second portion! The beef was incredibly tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very friendly, and the service was excellent from start to finish. If you’re looking for authentic Indonesian cuisine in Warsaw, this place is definitely worth a visit. We will certainly come back!
Mr. Janoko! So happy to have been here. What an amazing quality cuisine. I was in Indonesia many times and coming from Netherlands we know what good Indonesian food is. And this is it! Better than the one in Krakow! Try Rendang, its the best!
I came to this Indonesian restaurant after being recommended by my Indonesian classmate. I always thought Indonesian food was similar to other Southeast Asian cuisines, but after eating here, I was amazed and it sparked my interest in learning more about Indonesian culture. The Javanese music playing in the restaurant always puts me in a good mood, and the owner is very friendly. After going a few times, the boss he remembered me. It's just that I feel the business isn't very good. It's such a shame that such delicious food isn't known to many people. I hope the owner will make a lot of money in the future.
