I recently had the pleasure of dining at Banjaluka, and it turned out to be a fantastic Balkan culinary experience. The menu is rich and diverse, offering a great mix of traditional Balkan dishes with a modern twist. From flavorful starters like stuffed peppers, hummus, and beef tartare, to hearty mains such as grilled meats, seafood, and slow-cooked lamb, everything is designed to highlight bold, authentic flavors. Tripadvisor +1 What really stands out is the focus on grilled specialties—especially the mixed meat platters and signature dishes like pljeskavica and ćevapi, which are cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. Portions are generous, making it ideal for sharing or for those with a big appetite. In Your Pocket The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with a strong Balkan identity that adds to the overall experience. It’s not just about the food—there’s often live music and a vibrant energy that makes the place feel warm and authentic. In Your Pocket +1 Overall, Banjaluka is a great choice if you’re looking for something different from standard European cuisine. Whether you’re a fan of grilled meats or just want to explore Balkan flavors, this place delivers a memorable and satisfying dining experience.
Delicious and lovely food, big portions. I totally recommend. It’s a busy place with its own atmosphere.
Banjaluka Warsaw is one of those places you recommend without thinking twice. If you are looking for a legit Balkan restaurant in Warsaw city centre, this spot on Szkolna 2/4 delivers every single time. The service is on point, the team is fast, friendly and actually pays attention to what you need. The food is the star. Big portions, perfectly grilled meats, proper Balkan flavors, fresh sides and solid veggie options. Signature dishes like their gurmanska pljeskavica, lamb, and smoky grilled plates make it a great choice for dinner, parties or a date night. The place has a lively atmosphere with a big garden area that is made for summer evenings, plus live music on many nights. Overall, if someone searches for “Banjaluka Warsaw review,” “Banjaluka Balkan restaurant in Warsaw” or “best Balkan food in Warsaw,” this is exactly what they are hoping to find: amazing service, great food, and a place that feels authentic, not touristy.
Lovely relaxed place and tasty food. We went quite late and without a reservation, but staff were very friendly and got us a table. Great value for money, ribs were delicious, same as the sides! Overall enjoyable atmosphere!
