The staff was very kind, nice and well-spoken. We ate very well (ordered a salad and a soup in the sourdough as the main course and a dessert) and the price was way lower than expected. We enjoyed also the location: neon lights and good-tasting music. Greetings from Italy!
The staff was really helpful and welcoming! We unfortunately missed the museum tour and ended up having a vodka tasting at the bar, it was really well explained and entertaining. We didn’t feel so sorry for missing the tour after. Nice atmosphere and vibe to it. Thank you very much. Come and enjoy it.
Wojtek gave us a great introduction to wodka and explained the tasting in loving detail. Great bar, great wodka, great service, would come again!
Walking around Praga area we stumbled upon this gem. The vodka museum was booked for the next hours so they send us to the bar for the vodka tasting menu and it was perfect. Wojtek was super nice, passionate and gave us our own museum experience by explaining many things and really taking his time to share many interesting facts and context. I never tasted vodka like this and didnt think it could be so diverse. Very strong recommendation!
Setki Powodów has a really upbeat, lively atmosphere with great music and a modern, fresh interior that gives the place a fun party vibe. It definitely feels like a spot made for social evenings and casual cocktails. We tried a few drinks and the highlight was definitely the Maraczuzu cocktail – refreshing, balanced and easily the best of the night. The Dublin Lemonade, however, came in a very small portion (around 0.2L) and the taste wasn’t as impressive. The Berry Moon was quite sour and dry, not really matching our flavour preferences. Drink presentation could also use some improvement – the glasses felt a bit too simple for the style and concept of the place. Food-wise, everything was generally okay. The bao buns were good but not outstanding, and the chicken curry lacked spice and didn’t have the most appealing presentation. Overall, Setki Powodów is a nice concept with a great vibe and enjoyable atmosphere. With a bit more attention to detail in drinks and food presentation, this place could easily reach the next level.
