I’ve been here many times with my wife and friends, and every visit confirms the same thing: this place knows how to feed people properly. The open kitchen is a huge plus—you can watch the chefs work their magic over the grill, and the smell alone already puts you in a good mood. The food is unapologetically authentic Balkan cuisine, full of smoky aromas and bold flavors. The grilled meats are the real stars here: pljeskavica and ćevapčići are juicy, well-seasoned, and served in portions that could easily defeat even the hungriest guest. “Too big to finish” is not a figure of speech here. Starters deserve their own applause. Stuffed peppers with cheese, falafel on hummus, and other appetizers are fresh, well balanced, and beautifully presented. You can tell the ingredients are high quality, and the plating shows real care—rustic, but not sloppy. To complete the Balkan experience, the restaurant offers a solid selection of Balkan beers and rakija. Fair warning: prices, especially for alcohol, are on the higher side. That said, most guests (myself included) agree that the quality, portion size, and overall experience justify the cost. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming—casual, cozy, and perfect for long evenings with family or friends. Add to that a friendly, attentive service that makes you feel genuinely welcome, and you’ve got a place people love coming back to. Bottom line: Bałkany od kuchni is not a quick bite spot—it’s a place to sit, eat well, laugh a lot, and leave very full. If you enjoy hearty portions, grilled meat done right, and a relaxed, family-style vibe, this Balkan restaurant in Ursynów is absolutely worth visiting (again and again).
It was our second time going to this restaurant. The place has a very lovely and beautiful atmosphere, especially with the Christmas decorations they’ve put up.🎄🤶🎅 We ordered Balkan Burger w lepinji and Sakiewka Mala Serbia,they were really tasty, juicy and delicious 👌🤤 The female staff were extremely kind, warm, and friendly. And since today was my birthday, they even surprised us after the meal 🥳
