This place is somewhat unique. You get to sample the cheeses they make, and sell. Also, all of their dishes contain one of their cheeses. I had been walking around a lot, so started by just asking for water. It came with separate Ice, Lemon and Mint, which is a really nice touch. The waiter brought me over 3 different types of cheese and explained about them. All very good cheeses may I add. I then ordered the Cheesey Polenta fries, and the Duck Tagliatelle. The food here is exceptional, I would have given it 5 stars, but my Tagliatelle contained a few small bones. Overall though, this is a place I would definitely return to.
The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere and the food was delicious. We ordered the fondue, the tartar, and some cocktails, which had a very interesting presentation. However, the service ruined the experience for us. We had to wait 15 minutes just to have our order taken, and we were incredibly hungry. Our waiter was an older gentleman who was not welcoming at all. It felt like he was thinking, 'Why did you even come here?' We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and really wanted a festive, happy mood, so this was disappointing. When it was time for dessert, we tried to catch the waiter's attention, but it was all in vain. In the end, we just decided to pay the bill and leave to have dessert somewhere else. Great food, but the hospitality needs improvement.
The atmosphere was upscale and the food delivered on that same scale. They should have a Michelin Star!
Service: 5/5, attentive and quick Food: 5/5, very good, quality & optic wise Price/value: 5/5, very good Drinks: 4/5 ok Ambiente: 4/5, ok, doesnt really meet the mood/style of the food.
Food is good, portion sizes are good. Honestly no complaints, bonus that it's a restaurant known for cheese. Only complaint was żurek and pierogis were kind've salty but I'm not picky, main courses were all amazing and high quality.
