I really liked the atmosphere and the interior design of the place. As a non meat eater though, it was probably not the place for me. I had potato dumplings with fried onion- great taste and potato pancakes with mushroom sauce. Both lovely, well prepared dishes. My partner who enjoys meat was very satisfied. He had the starter with bread, lard and pickles and for main, a veal casserole with boiled potatoes.
We’d read about this restaurant and thought it would be high quality homely food in a buzzing hip neighbourhood outside the main town. Sadly at 8.45pm on a Saturday night in June we were the only people there for much of our meal until a few other tables showed up later, and sadly the neighbourhood was really quiet and not what we expected. But none of that is the restaurant’s fault, and we were delighted we stayed because the quality of cooking was truly delicious — beautifully seasoned potato cakes, delicious sauce and sides, and really tender pork.
If there were 10 stars, I would give to this restaurant. Everything was so special. From the atmosphere, with interiors in a retro style that made you doing a trip in history. The owner was very kind, she made me accomodating without reservation, but I recommend to have it. She was recommending what to eat and what available in the kitchen. The food was phenomenal. I took a kotlet with a myzeria and smashed potatoes. Kotlet was definetely the best I ever had in Poland. Myzeria too. No words, hope pictures explain theirselves. Cost was even cheaper than other restaurants in Warsaw. I highly recommend to try this restaurant once in life.
