Description

Get to know Warsaw on a full-day tour of the Polish capital. Spend time on foot and on private transportation exploring the city and learning its history. Your tour begins with pick-up at your hotel, and from there you will be taken to Łazienki Park, the largest park in Warsaw. Admire your surroundings as you make your way to the park's Palace on the Water and the Roman-inspired Amphitheater built on the lake. After this, continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Old Town, and walk along medieval cobblestone streets dominated by the Royal Castle and the Cathedral, continuing to the New Town where you will find the Baroque-style Krasiński Palace, and the Palace of Justice. Next, your private transportation will take you by the Grand Theatre and Opera House, the Jabłonowski Palace, the Town Hall, and Saxon Gardens. You will also see monuments dedicated to lives lost during the war and the Holocaust, including the Tomb of Unknown Soldier, Umschlagplatz, and the Monument to the Ghetto Heroes. Transportation during the tour is included, as well as a tour guide with language of your choice. When you are done, you will emerge with a much fuller understanding of Warsaw's past and present.
