Treblinka was a Nazi German extermination camp operating between July 1942 and October 1943 in occupied Poland. Located 4 kilometers south of the Treblinka train station in the Masovian Voivodeship, it was part of Operation Reinhard, the deadliest phase of the Final Solution. An estimated 700,000 to 900,000 Jews and 2,000 Romani people were killed in its gas chambers. Treblinka saw higher Jewish death tolls than any other camp except Auschwitz.
During the tour, you will visit the museum to learn about prisoners' daily lives and see a miniature model illustrating the camp's architecture. You will walk through the ruins of the Penal Labour Camp, where around 20,000 inmates were held from 1941 to 1944. Hear accounts of the Courageous 840 prisoners who led a revolt in August 1943.
