Description

Your driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Warsaw early in the morning. Pickup time depends on your Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum entrance ticket and may vary.

Start with a 3.5-hour guided group tour of the Auschwitz and Birkenau camps led by an English-speaking guide. Explore Auschwitz, established by German Nazis in 1940 near Oswiecim, and visit the museum displaying evidence of the genocide. You will also watch a documentary filmed shortly after the camp's liberation, available in several languages.

Then proceed to Birkenau (Auschwitz II), established in 1941. This camp witnessed the suffering and deaths of approximately 1.5 million people, mostly Jews, but also Poles, Roma, Russians, and prisoners from 28 European countries. Auschwitz-Birkenau was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.

After the tour, travel for 1.5 hours to Krakow, where you will have three hours of free time to explore the Main Market Square, the largest medieval town square in Europe. Nearby attractions include Wawel Hill with its Cathedral and Royal Castle, the Town Hall Tower, St. Mary’s Basilica, Krakow Barbican, and the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice). The area offers numerous historic sites, bars, restaurants, and horse-drawn carriage rides.

You can have lunch at a local restaurant during the free time. Afterward, you will be picked up and driven back to Warsaw, arriving at your accommodation in the evening.
