The museum presents Poland’s role in the free world’s victory over Soviet communism, covering the entire Cold War period with over 50 multimedia exhibits, including touch screens, VR goggles, and a robot guide.

It is the only museum offering a Polish perspective on the rivalry between the two blocs during the Cold War. The exhibition highlights contributions from key figures such as President Ronald Reagan, Pope John Paul II, and General Ryszard Kukliński.

The museum is housed at a historically significant site that was once a communist militia station, linking its location to Poland’s martial law era and the death of Grzegorz Przemyk. It offers insights into the period’s history, consequences, and personal stories from victims and survivors.

The Cold War Museum welcomes visitors of all ages, including children, and is one of the few museums in Warsaw that allows four-legged visitors. It also features Poland’s first autonomous robot guide.
