This 2.5-hour tour departs from the Palace of Culture and Science and combines a ride on a classic 1980s Jelcz 043 bus, known as the 'Cucumber,' with guided walks in key locations. It is suitable for groups up to 8 people in a Nysa mini retro bus, or larger groups on the Jelcz bus.

Description
Meet by the Tourist Information Office at the Palace of Culture and Science. The tour begins here and includes a live-guided bus ride on the Jelcz 043 'Cucumber,' one of Warsaw’s iconic communist-era vehicles.
The first stop is Royal Park Łazienki, where you learn about its 18th-century origins and seasonal traditions. On the walking tour, see the Frederic Chopin statue, Palace on the Isle, and the historic amphitheater. After this, the bus transfers you to the Old Town, rebuilt after World War II. Discover the story behind Sigismund's Column in Castle Square, the Old Town Market Square, St. John’s Cathedral, the Warsaw Mermaid statue, and the Barbican. The walk reveals the city’s historic and symbolic sites.
The tour concludes back at the Palace of Culture and Science with insights on the building’s controversial history. This tour runs every Saturday at 3 PM from April through October.
