We had a great lunch at Restauracja U Wieniawy. The food was authentic, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. From the starters to the mains and desserts, everything was delicious. The wine and cocktails were excellent as well and complemented the meal perfectly. The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. The atmosphere is particularly special, evoking the elegance and charm of the 1940s in a very tasteful way. A wonderful dining experience overall, and one we would happily recommend to anyone visiting Warsaw.
This is an unique experience when in Warszawa. The vibe is more formal but welcoming .The restaurant takes you back to the 1920s and 1930s and the food is impecable. Be sure and order the Polish red wine by the glass. It’s dry and crisp. The staff are attentive and take care of you.
First time in Poland. 7 cities in 11 days. Somehow, my son and I found the time to eat at this exceptional restaurant 3 times! So what was so exceptional? The management, the chef & cooks, the servers, the food, the presentation, the atmosphere, the design, the warmth, and the attitude, just to name a few. We had so much fun there. My “hats off” to the staff of U Wieniawy. It’s only been 10 days since we dined there and we miss it already. Btw, when dining there, don’t forget to ask for Patrick.
Fantastic. Sat at the bar and was served exceptional cocktails and pairings by Mikotaj. Enjoyed steak tartare (prepared in front of you) and a few other snacks! Live music. A great escape from the usual outdoor venues, into a bit of vibe.
We recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, where the Tatar was prepared right before our eyes, adding an interactive element that made the experience even more special. The flavors were incredible, and the freshness truly shone through. The pierogies were equally delightful, with their soft dough and hearty fillings—definitely a meal I can’t wait to repeat!
