Do you want to read a book or work on your laptop while sitting on the sofa or lying in bed? Then be prepared to get up and wave your arms around every 20 minutes. The motion sensor for the lights is quite far away, so sometimes you literally have to get completely out of bed just to make the lights turn on again. Did you turn on the air conditioning or the heater, which already takes quite a long time to start working properly? It will automatically switch off as soon as you have not moved around the room for 20 minutes. And you need turn on manually again after. Washing your hair and not moving enough while standing in the shower? The light will switch off too!! I have stayed in many hotels around the world, including several Hilton hotels, and I have NEVER seen a system like this. I would honestly rather pay $100 more and stay in a better hotel where they are not trying to save money on electricity in such an extreme way. My room itself was clean and the renovation was fine (2nd floor). The internet was also good. The bed was strange, the mattress squeaks like walking on snow, but okay. I also paid to extend my check-out time until 6 PM. However, at 12 PM, even though I had the “Do Not Disturb” sign hanging on my door, the housekeeping staff opened my door without knocking. I understand that this was probably not their fault, because reception later called me and told me they did not know that I had paid for the late check-out. They said they would check it. When I later came downstairs to reception just to ask whether everything was okay and whether my payment had been confirmed, they did not look happy to see me and did not apologize. They were not directly rude, but their attitude made me feel as if I was staying there for free and bothering them simply by asking a question. Maybe the fact that I am from Ukraine was unpleasant for them. I do not know. But the situation itself, was absolutely unacceptable. Another VERY important thing: I booked the room through Booking.com, and my reservation clearly said that I had free cancellation until 29.08. However, the money was already successfully charged from my card on 28.08. I understand that hotel may have the right to pre-authorize or charge the cost of one night according to their conditions, but I had not even checked in yet, and even the free cancellation deadline had not passed. Also, be prepared to receive a very unpleasant response if you ask reception whether they can open the entrance barrier for a taxi. I was told that the entrance was “not for taxis” and that I was supposed to walk out to the road with around 30 kg of luggage, to a place where there was not even a proper area for a car to stop. Apparently, that entrance to the hotel is “only for deliveries.” What??? To the girl who was working on 01.09 at around 5 PM: seriously need some training in how to speak to guests and how to say goodbye to them. The fact that I look young does not mean that you can speak to me like I am a child or person who annoying you. Parking is also paid, although I did not use it. I am just mentioning it for anyone considering staying here. Breakfast? Well… it is okay.It is also not exactly pleasant when employees bringing cups or food basically push past you so they can put something down, instead of simply asking you to move a little. But at this point, what else can I say? That seemed to be the general attitude of many of the employees. Would I recommend this hotel? NO. On the second floor, at least in my particular room, it was clean. There was hot water and the shower worked. But if you do not want to create unnecessary stress for yourself, please know that you can find much better hotels, even in the city centre, by paying a little more. I stayed in several other hotels and they were genuinely much better. It was bad.

A truly charming place to stay! The 3-star rating may give you second thoughts, but don’t be fooled — the accommodation exceeded every expectation. The guest rooms are generously sized, immaculate, and incredibly cozy. Breakfast is simple yet satisfying I would wholeheartedly suggest this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay
