Restauracja Primitivo Kuchnia i Wino - kuchnia śródziemnomorska Warszawa

Warsaw

Check out their extensive Primitivo wine selection, especially for pairing with Mediterranean dishes.

Restauracja Primitivo Kuchnia i Wino offers a distinct take on Mediterranean cuisine in the bustling city of Warsaw. Located at Waliców 13, this venue is well-placed in the vibrant, emerging business and lifestyle center of the city. With an emphasis on simplicity and authenticity, the culinary approach integrates Mediterranean influences with locally sourced Polish ingredients, creating dishes that are uncomplicated yet highly tasteful. Primitivo is known for its diverse selection of wines, featuring what is likely the most extensive assortment of Primitivo wines in Poland. These robust wines perfectly complement the Mediterranean flavors, making them a central part of the dining experience.

The restaurant’s interior draws inspiration from notable designs such as the original location of the famous NOMA restaurant in Copenhagen. With an earthy color palette and the use of materials like 100-year-old reclaimed wood, natural stone, and glass, the space offers a rustic yet welcoming ambiance. There is a focus on earth-derived colors—greens, browns, beiges, grays, and whites—that blend seamlessly to create a cozy atmosphere, enhanced by the depth of red wine hues.

Primitivo’s menu offers a varied selection for both lunch and dinner, crafted around the principle of quality over quantity, where every dish is a testament to the flavors of the Mediterranean, made to be paired with their curated wine selection. The bar complements this with an array of classic and inventive cocktails, each inspired by the carefree essence of sunny Mediterranean climes.

With its strategic location, unique culinary offerings, and atmospheric setting, Restauracja Primitivo Kuchnia i Wino is well-suited for casual diners and wine enthusiasts alike. Its ambiance is both raw and inviting, creating an environment where guests can enjoy an exceptional culinary journey in one of Warsaw’s most dynamic areas.

Very elegant place with professional and attentive staff. Very delicious food. The duck breast was looking a bit sad as a main course and can be added more sides but other than that we enjoyed our time there. The Vines were really good. The atmosphere was also really chilling. We spent 240 pln in total for two people so you might expect a bit higher of prices but it is absolutely worth it.

I had an amazing experience in the middle of the busy day here! The food was incredible—the duck was cooked perfectly, and the meringue was super delicious! But what truly made the encounter special was the waiter, Mr. Wojtek. His warm smile and friendly, attentive service made a world of difference. It’s rare to find hospitality this genuine. Highly recommend!

We were looking for a place with the perfect tiramisu, found this spot on Google Maps, and decided to give it a try — and it turned out to be absolutely the right decision! The tiramisu was heavenly, truly perfect. The presentation was beautiful as well, although unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to record it. The service was professional, friendly, and welcoming throughout our visit. The place itself is spacious, cozy, and very nicely designed. I’ll definitely be coming back to try their pastas and pizzas too!

Oh wow! easily one of the best food spots in Warsaw! The pasta with burrata was incredible, and the lamb was an absolute 10/10. The truffle risotto was slightly overrated compared to some other places in the city, but still very good overall. Wanted it to be more creamy.. And I absolutely have to mention Vojtek 🤵🏻‍♂️— if the managers are reading this, give this man a bonus! Truly one of the best waiters we’ve ever had: attentive, friendly, and he made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back. And yes… the semifreddo was another 10/10!

I’m not surprised this place has 4,9 stars. The food is great, high quality of products but the best part of this restaurant is the service. Let’s skip the very pleasant part of welcoming with the wardrobe, but the waiter… such a personal touch. Mateusz was our waiter and he was great, very gentle, polite and such a great attention to details. Overall very nice experience, comfort place, not loud and very good food sooo nothing to add, just perfect. Clean toilets, change of cutlery at each service, professional touch.
