Majdanek is notable for being captured by the Red Army nearly intact. See the gas chambers, showers, and crematoriums where thousands of Jews, Poles, Russians, Belorussians, and Ukrainians lost their lives. Pay your respects to the dead at the Mausoleum which contain the ashes of the camp's victims. After a day of sobering reflection, dine at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will be driven back to Warsaw.
