Brasserie Warszawska
Warsaw
Brasserie Warszawska is a very brightly lit, elegant restaurant, inspired by Warsaw and French traditions with strong modern European influences. It is the only restaurant in Poland to have been awarded the prestigious Bib Gourmand award by the French Michelin Guide. This is recognition for being one of the top restaurants in Europe that offers good value for money.
The menu has been created with a belief in simplicity and good taste based on traditional cooking methods. Some interesting samples from the eclectic range on offer includes Barbarie duck breast with cherries, potato gratin and beetroot, fried trout with young vegetables in a court bouillon and baked cod with courgette flowers, young cabbage, capers and trout caviar.
On the grill menu there is the Polish rib eye steak and also the t-bone steak from Ireland / Hereford. There is a daily special offer which contains soup and a main course all for the reasonable cost of 35PLN. Crème Brulee, vanilla cheesecake with strawberries and chocolate moose with nuts are dessert options for those with a sweet tooth.
The restaurant has a bar with a stylish zinc countertop, and serves cocktails, whiskeys, rums, champagnes and more. There is seating for 70 guests with special private rooms for those who are looking for more privacy. These can host up to 12 people but can also be joined together to host larger groups.
In the summer, there is an outside seating area where you can enjoy your meal or relax with a drink in the open air. Incidentally, Brasserie Warszawksa has the same owner as Butchery and Wine.
