Great service! The staff Andzelika and Daniel were amazing, super friendly, and welcoming throughout our visit. Everything was wonderful, the best drinks in town and the overall experience was excellent. Highly recommend!
Had a really good steak here and my Wifey had the burger, which was also pretty good 👍🏻 Service was delivered by Sebastian, a great guy that looked well after us. The place definitely has a high “cool factor” and the overall experience was good.
We visited Whiskey in the Jar as a group of seven and spent around five hours there. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and I would recommend it, especially if you like a lively rock-style atmosphere. The restaurant is spacious and spread over two levels, with a large main area downstairs and additional seating upstairs. The interior has a strong rustic bar feeling, mixed with a modern rock-and-roll touch. There are two bars, although during our visit mainly the lower bar was actively used. Upstairs there was also extra seating and a foosball table, which added to the casual atmosphere. One of the highlights was definitely the live band. The music fitted the concept of the place very well and created a pleasant, energetic atmosphere without feeling too much. Food and drinks were presented very nicely. Everything looked visually appealing, from the cocktails to the dishes. The food was good, the drinks were well prepared, and nothing looked careless or poorly served. Prices are on the higher side, but considering the central location, the size of the venue, the live music, the service and the overall atmosphere, this is understandable. The staff were friendly, professional and efficient. Since we were seven people, the order was not exactly small, but everything arrived in a reasonable rhythm, usually within around 15–20 minutes. What we had: The supreme burger was very tasty and rich. The watermelon salad relatively plain but ok. The steak viking was really great in tasting and flavor. The Miami Jar is really colourful but a little bit artificial but still tasty. The Cherry Jar was really tasty. There are two points I would improve. First, there is no traditional printed menu. You need to scan a QR code from the table mat, so having a phone is basically necessary. Second, there was no proper air conditioning. They had large fans, but in summer this was not enough, and the place became quite warm. Overall, Whiskey in the Jar is a very good choice for food, drinks, live music and a strong atmosphere. I would definitely come back, but probably more in autumn or winter rather than during hot summer days. With proper air conditioning, the experience would be even better.
Remarkably good value place. For the location and the food quality the prices are very reasonable. The vibe is great, the decor exactly what you think of from a sort of biker theme steakhouse. We had the bloomin onion and a couple of beers. The onion was huge, kinda spicy and very oniony. Needless to say we trumped all night. Very impressed with the place for the value. I wish I had had a steak or one of the amazing looking burgers, served sensibly halved and face down for ease of consumption.
Best place to spend your time with your love, to discover new drinks and live music. Atmosphere is great and bar decorations are awesome. Daniel, the bartender is like Jack Daniel’s - professional and with great sense with humour. His sister, Agnelika, is like angel - pure and innocent and always thinks about your comfort at the bar!!! This place is a must have to visit when you are in Warsaw!!!
