European Square (Plac Europejski)
City Sights
Leisure and Activities
Plac Europejski (European Square) is a relatively new spot on the map of Warsaw (it has been there since May, 2016); it is an architectural attraction, often visited both by tourists and the residents of the city. There you can find a stream gurgling in the distance, fountains with benches placed around them and very interesting specimens of architecture (including one of the highest office blocks in Europe, and the futuristic mass of Genesis restaurant). From the side of Grzybowska street, the square is framed with Art Walk passage, a 57-metre-long art gallery, in which various works of art are displayed all year round. In summer there are sunbeds, as open-air film screenings are organized here, whereas in winter a free rink is set up on this spot.
If you visit Plac Europejski don`t miss
