Reviews
Look at my Profile, I only write Google reviews when I am truly blown away. This was insanely good and probably the best Indian food I ever had. The Banjara Kebab as a starter made my girlfriend say "Wow, how good is this!" in surprise. As a main dish I tried the Chicken Vindaloo, which was fantastic. But be careful, when you order spicy food! They do not mess around! This was probably the spiciest food I evee had in a European restaurant. Special shout out to our waiter, very friendly guy!
Very fine food, traditional Indian spicy. Great service as well, we had a very good time tonight.
Huge compliments to Mahavir Singh and Vijay Kumar at Guru Restaurant. Their cooking is exceptional — rich flavors, perfect spices, and truly authentic Indian taste. The service staff, Kasia and Viktoria were also friendly and very competent, which made the whole experience even better
My main reason to try this place was their thali. Very few places have that in Warsaw. Thali’s quantity is sufficient for 2 people, might have to order another bread if required. In the thali, dal, Chana, palak paneer were good. Korma was average. If I could make a change in the thali then I would remove one vegetable like korma and replace it with a small dessert like kheer. Their Gulab jamuns (only option for dessert) tasted a bit off. Staff was nice. There is plenty of space to sit in the restaurant.
